How is age calculated accurately?+
The calculator subtracts the birth date from the reference date, adjusting for different month lengths and leap years — not just dividing by 365.
What does "total hours lived" mean?+
It multiplies total calendar days lived by 24 to give a rough total-hours figure (does not account for daylight saving time shifts).
Can I calculate age at a past or future date?+
Yes — enter any date in the "Age As Of Date" field, including future dates, and the calculator will compute your age on that day.
